Reads well and flows smoothly, a lot of detail. The characters’ personalities are evident, you did a good job of setting them up and describing the environment. I’m interested to read the rest of it.
The language here is beautiful and the tension between the characters is wound so expertly -- I can't wait to see how it plays out through the rest of the novel! You've set up some very interesting dynamics here!
